Everything about Nassau Staten Island Railway Station totally explained

Nassau is a Staten Island Railway train station located roughly between the neighborhoods of Tottenville (on the south) and Charleston (on the north), in Staten Island, New York. It is located at Bethel Avenue and Saint Andrews Place on the main line. It is usually a flag station, meaning that trains will only stop here upon request by a passenger or if the operator sees people on the platforms. This station contains two four-car length side platforms and overpass and exits at the south end. The staircase to St. Andrews Place on the east side has no canopy. An abandoned third track sits next to the southbound platform and this area once held a major smelting factory, for which the station was originally named. The factory site was a vacant brownfield, until 2007, when the land was cleaned and is now environmentally safe for future development. West of the station is all vacant land.
